12/20/2023 0 Comments Sony alarm clock photo frame![]() Why it’s great: If you want a dependable alarm clock with a timeless analog design that’s dead silent and easy to use, the Lemnos Riki checks all of those boxes. The developers recently added Bluetooth speaker functionality and are promising Spotify connectivity and additional sounds as features that are “coming soon.” We’ll update this guide when-and if-these features appear. For instance, we discovered one night that there were a few more soothing classical compositions to wake up to than we’d had the day before and that alarm-scheduling options had been expanded. But on a regular basis this clock can get additional features delivered via Wi-Fi updates. The Loftie isn’t “smart” like other smart alarm clocks, in that you won’t be served the news or the weather with the aid of a voice assistant. The two other buttons are for setting the alarm, accessing brightness and volume settings, setting the duration of the sleep timer, and choosing alarm tones. You won’t be able to read using the light, but it’s bright enough for when you’re fumbling for your glasses or going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. There’s an adjustable night-light hidden at the base that’s easily turned on and off, using the large button on top of the clock (it also works as the snooze button). We also liked the clock’s all-black exterior (it comes in a white and black option, too), which is free of distracting lights or branding. But it’s clear, and it automatically sets the time once connected to a Wi-Fi network. Of clocks we’ve tested, this one’s display isn’t the largest or the brightest. And though the clock’s single-speaker output can be a bit tinny for playing music, it can get surprisingly loud and is just fine for alarm tones and answering Google Assistant prompts. Fortunately, the clock’s two microphones (one in the front, the other in the back) are very sensitive and able to discern commands, even when we used a hushed volume at night. To set the alarm, adjust the volume, or turn on the night-light, it was always much easier to summon help with a “hey, Google …” instead. There’s also a tap at the top to enable the snooze feature, but it sometimes required another touch to register. ![]() Unless you’re looking at them from above, the buttons are discernible only by touch, and I often fumbled at night or in the early morning while trying to turn on music or adjust the volume. Even though the clock is outfitted with four evenly distributed buttons-for volume, turning on music, and the alarm settings-they are obscured from view due to the angled wedge design. ![]() Most everything this alarm clock can do is hidden, accessed using its built-in Google Assistant voice controls or with the Google Home app. ![]() 12/20/2023 0 Comments Walmart one day fishing license![]() After buying the license online, in some cases, you can print the license out, and you are good to go until they send you the actual license to fish.Īnyone who wants to fish in the US needs a fishing license, with a limited number of exemptions. The post-production process is pretty simple. If you have a result pretty similar to the image below it means that it's correct and we can now render out the Occlusion pass as we did previously for the beauty pass.Īdding the white HDR in place of the background image Compositing We can go now to the Environment panel and under the background section, change it from the backplate image to Color, and from the Environment Library we can drag a total white HDR into the scene. Linking the materials to keep the shadows a little darker under the car White HDR Then select the Edit Material settings, and from Type select Diffuse to get a uniform matte material, and remember to change the color to white/ light grey. ![]() We'll need to keep the shadows under the car a bit darker, so to do that we need to select all the objects in our scene and click Link materials. After that I render out an Occlusion pass. The render will take just few minutes (of course, this will depends on your computer, but trust me – it's pretty fast). Now we're ready to click Render.Ĭonfirming the image output settings Rendering For the quality, I usually use the default setting because it's already fine. To do this, just click Render, change your resolution as you want and the Format from JPG to TIFF including the alpha channel. When I'm satisfied with the scene I just need to render out the beauty pass. We can then customize the material from the project menu under the Material panel.ĭropping a material into the scene and customizing its settings KeyShot offers a big photorealistic material library, and we can select whatever we prefer from the library menu on the left hand side and drag and drop it on the object. Working with the camera and lighting settings Materials With the rotation, we can rotate the HDR in the scene and decide where our lighting source will cast shadows. I focus on Contrast, Brightness, Size, Height and the last, but probably the most important one, the Rotation. We have previously imported the HDR files into our scene by dragging it in, now we have just to play with the values. When we are satisfied with the camera position we can lock it and go forward to the next step. You can hold down the left mouse button in the viewport to rotate your camera. You can play with the parameters: Distance, Azimuth, Inclination and Twist. To set up your camera you have two different ways: 1. I click on camera, and select camera1 (unsaved). I move the cursor of my mouse onto the right hand side of the interface. Now I have both my backplate and my HDRI in the scene so I can go forward and continue setting the camera and the lighting.ĭragging the files into the scene Camera and lighting To do that, I just need to select the files from the library and drag them into our scene. Importing specific HDRI and backplates to work with the model Camera setting ![]() Once I choose and download my HDRI and backplates I'm ready to import them. If you Google HDRI and backplates you can find some really nice images but mostly are pretty expensive, so for this reason I usually go to: where they offer a lot of HDR images with backplates completely free. Importing the model file into KeyShot Camera settingīefore we set up the camera, we have to decide where to place the car and what kind of lighting we're going to use. KeyShot supports a lot of 3D formats, though I prefer to export model files in an FBX or OBJ format, or use the plug-in in 3ds Max that exports the model straight to KeyShot as a BIP file. To do this, I just click Import and use the default setting as in the image here. I create this scene during my lunch time and there's no time to model anything, so I just import a nice car model into KeyShot. I'm now going to explain you how create a nice photorealistic render within an hour. One of the easiest and quickest softwares I have ever used is, without a doubt, KeyShot.
